PCD roll lettering knife is often used in the processing of cemented carbide rolls, PCD roll lettering knife is mainly used in the engraving process of cemented carbide rolls. In the process of roll manufacturing and maintenance, it is often necessary to carve the identification, specifications, production date and other information on the roll surface. By virtue of its high hardness, high thermal conductivity, low friction coefficient and high machining accuracy, PCD roll lettering knife can accomplish this task efficiently and accurately.
● High hardness: The hardness of PCD material is very high, 80 to 120 times that of cemented carbide. This makes the PCD tool have excellent wear resistance when processing high-hardness materials, which can maintain the sharpness of the tool for a long time and extend the service life.
● High thermal conductivity: the thermal conductivity of PCD is 700W/mK, which is 1.5 to 9 times that of cemented carbide, even higher than PCBN and copper. The high thermal conductivity enables the PCD tool to dissipate heat rapidly during the cutting process, reduce the cutting temperature, reduce the thermal deformation of the tool, and improve the processing accuracy.
Low friction coefficient: the friction coefficient of PCD is generally only 0.10.3, far lower than the 0.41 of cemented carbide. The low friction coefficient means that PCD tools can significantly reduce cutting forces and energy consumption during cutting, while also helping to improve the quality of the machined surface.
● High machining accuracy: the thermal expansion coefficient of PCD tool is small, equivalent to 1/5 of cemented carbide. This makes the PCD tool in the process of small thermal deformation, can maintain a high processing accuracy.
● Non-affinity: PCD tool and non-ferrous metal and non-metallic materials affinity is very small, chips in the process of processing is not easy to bond in the tool tip to form a chip tumor, is conducive to keeping the tool clean and sharp.
